Taking a prime mover or a twenty-tonne excavator to a workshop costs more in downtime than the repair does. This is where a fully mobile service earns its keep: we come to the depot, the yard, the quarry or the paddock with the refrigerant, oil, fittings and hose crimping gear to finish the job on the spot.
Heavy vehicle systems differ from cars in ways that matter — much larger charge weights, bunk and sleeper cooler units, engine-driven or hydraulically driven compressors, 24 volt control circuits, and cab filters that clog fast in dusty work. Dust is the quiet killer here: a blocked condenser cannot shed heat, so the system runs high pressure and the compressor pays for it.
For fleets we work through multiple units in one visit and keep a record of each vehicle’s charge weight and service date, which saves arguments about warranty later.
