When an air conditioning hose fails, the factory part is often a complete line assembly with fittings moulded on either end, and the price reflects that. On older vehicles and on machinery it may not be available at all.
We carry hose stock and crimping equipment on the van, so in many cases we can cut the failed section out, fit new barrier hose and crimp the original fittings back on — a fraction of the cost of a full line, done on the spot.
This is also what makes retrofits and machinery work practical: when nothing off the shelf fits, we make what does.
